Jeffery is an experienced trial attorney who began his career at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office where he handled felony convictions on appeal, and then prosecuted cases involving abused and/or neglected children.

After leaving his role as a criminal prosecutor, he joined a prominent Chicago based litigation boutique firm where he focused on commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining BUPD, he was selected as a Partner in two of the best litigation offices in Chicago, representing clients throughout the US. Jeffery regularly acts as lead trial counsel in a wide range of claims, in both state and federal courts, including: general contract litigation, construction defect litigation, shareholder litigation, insurance defense, fraud, product liability, patent infringement, legal malpractice, civil rights cases and real estate litigation.

In addition to his litigation practice, Jeffery serves as an offsite General Counsel to a number of companies both large and small.

Jeffery lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife Heather, their two children, and their two dogs.
